As I have gotten older the cold weather less and less agrees with me. I went to college in the NC mountains and was used to the colder weather, snow, sleet and freezing temperatures all the time. I love to go visit up there still and had a dream of one day buying a mountain home and moving there full time. But as I have gotten into my later 50’s I can see that the colder weather up there would not be for me in the winter months. I would enjoy the mountains from June-October and then come back home in the warmer climate of central NC where it is still pretty darn cold in the winter.
