Americana- Whatever Happened To Good Values and American Pride

I have been thinking about this topic for several weeks now as I watch various videos on social media accounts and the obvious destruction of good morals, family values and American pride in our society. I see video after video of people attacking others, beating them up for no reason and filming it. I see violence all over the internet and it seems to be the norm now for our younger generation. I see people fighting about race, religion, sexual preferences and other personal decisions and life styles. I see schools as a public education teacher failing with students in high school that cannot read, write or compute math problems at the lower elementary level.

I see music that is representing violence against women, police and others. I see movie stars, professional athletes and politicians calling for violence, destruction and immoral ideology that is destroying the modern family and our younger generation. I see religions coming between people like never before. People are fighting over their faith just as the Bible stated it would happen. I see companies hiring people based on DEI measures instead of actual who is the best person for the job. I see schools allowing kids to do as they please without fear of discipline.

I see people disrespecting their elders, women, bosses, co-workers, judges, teachers and others that deserve to be treated better. I see a young generation that thinks they can say or do anything and not be arrested or held accountable. I see politicians speak out both sides of their mouths and not represent the people. I see parents allowing their kids to quit sports teams or transfer schools because they are not the main starter on the team. I see students hitting teachers, administrators and fighting the police in schools. I see people standing, watching or filming violent activity instead of standing up for others and stopping it. I can go on and on about all the bad I see happening around America and the world. What I would like to see happen in America is below.

These “whatever happened” questions could heal our people, our cities, towns, schools, families and country. These things are basics that have been taught forever and are suddenly leaving society on a daily basis. These are basics that kids need to learn at home and in school so they can be productive adults contributing to the world and not making it worse. These are basics that must come back and we need God to bring them back. God is good and these things are good. These are the foundation to a better world and society. It the above continues to snow ball then society will certainly collapse into chaos at some point. Wars will rage on and hate will prevail.

Whatever happened to common sense?

Whatever happened to being a good person?

Whatever happened to living your life as you chose too without pushing it on everyone else?

Whatever happened to a two parent marriage with a father in the house supporting his wife and kids?

Whatever happened to life having winners and losers where people worked hard for their gains or losses.

Whatever happened to people being able to agree to disagree about religion, faith, family, morals, values and political affiliations while remaining friends?

Whatever happened to people being hired for jobs based on education, experience and background instead of DEI metrics?

Whatever happened to reading, writing and math being important in society?

Whatever happened to working hard, being patient, putting time and energy into the family, career, job, school, kids, education, faith, family and friends?

Whatever happened to helping others?

Whatever happened to freedom of speech, religion and owning firearms?

Whatever happened to parents holding their kids to discipline standards that will bring them up in life and not disable them as adults?

Whatever happened to living the American dream of success, safety, security and making a good life?

Whatever happened to American pride, American ideals, American values, American strength, American first thought process?
